Select Engineered Systems is at Booth 659 showing its SelecTouch Biometric reader. The SelecTouch uses optical technology to capture a fingerprint and convert the image to a digital template. Fingerprints are not stored. The SelecTouch has the capacity to retrieve up to 500 templates. False acceptance and False Rejection rates are programmable. The SES SelecTouch can operate as a stand-alone reader or connect to an access panel that accepts 26-bit Wiegand format. Enrollment is easy using the RJ-45 connector.
