Sierra Video Systems is at Booth 677 showing its Lassen XL analog routing switchers with increased bandwidth, and the inclusion of IP connectivity in all Lassen family routing switchers.

The composite video and stereo audio Lassen XL analog routing switchers improve upon the previous models (Lassen Analog routing switchers) with the addition of an IP port for Ethernet connectivity and improved video boards with increased bandwidth. The Lassen HD and Lassen SDI routing switcher families are also now outfitted with an IP port for Ethernet connectivity.

"The elevation of our Lassen family of composite video routing switchers to XL represents a fresh update of communication and board features," says Chris Santos, product manager for Sierra Video Systems. "Added IP connectivity and enhanced video boards allow Lassen to remain the standard product for customers with space-constrained production environments. Furthermore, we've extended Ethernet capabilities to all of our Lassen families, including Lassen HD multi-format routing switchers and Lassen SDI digital routing switchers, to benefit all of our customers."

The rear panels of all Lassen family routing switchers are now outfitted with RJ-45 connectors for IP communication over Ethernet, and continue to offer RS-232/422 control capability. For Lassen XL composite video routing switchers, improved XL video boards allow for increased bandwidth to 300MHz @ -3dB. Lassen XL routing switchers are available in sizes from 12x4 to 32x32 with redundant power supply optional in 32x16 and 32x32 models. All Lassen routing switchers are fully interoperable with all other Sierra Video Systems routing switchers, functioning as master or slave in the system. Like previous Lassen models, they are outfitted with a front panel LCD display and Sierra Video Systems' Qwik Adjust Knob rotary control interface.

The Lassen XL, Lassen HD, and Lassen SDI routing switchers are currently available from the Sierra Video Systems and Kramer Electronics worldwide reseller networks.
