At Booth 869 Leightronix is showcasing its new TCD/V3 television automation and video server controller along with new digital video features and a backup software utility for the popular NEXUS video server/system controller.
Building on the mega-control capabilities of the TCD series of products, the TCD/V3 focuses on multi-channel, server-driven systems. With the TCD/V3, any user can effortlessly manage up to 16 channels of digital video playback. The TCD/V3 controls the Leightronix TCD/NX as well as third party servers, including the Image Servers from 360 Systems.
The WinLGX network management software accompanying the TCD/V3 provides an intuitive user interface for scheduling, immediate system control, user account management, system configuration, and site management. The WinLGX resource library easily handles mixed media formats, including digital video files (MPEG), DVD programs, videotape titles, and TCD/NX JPEG video slides. The drag and drop-scheduling window allows users to quickly schedule library resources for playback on any of the system output channels.
The NEXUS is an all-in-one, comprehensive solution offering digital playback/recording, scalable digital media storage, facility routing, and control for a variety of playback resources. To complement this already amazing set of features, Leightronix is introducing several new digital video playback formats and Total Backup, a background software utility that secures NEXUS digital files and system data against loss.
New on-air graphic and text overlay features give NEXUS users the power to create striking digital video messages on-the-fly or through a schedule. Users can display PNG file graphic images over scheduled digital programming, having the option to add a sequence of up to 12, two-line text messages on the lower third position of the overlay screen.
Graphic and text overlays may also be immediately created and displayed from the emergency messaging feature within the NEXUS Web interface, WebNEXUS.
Users can now also display dynamic listings of up to ten, upcoming scheduled programs over JPEG slides of their choosing with the onscreen program guide feature.
Leightronix also is launching a new helpmate to the NEXUS, the Total Backup software utility. Total Backup makes it possible for users to create a fully redundant copy of their digital files and critical system data on an immediate or scheduled basis.
