The Bose Professional Systems Division (Booth 1016) is launching a new line of FreeSpace business music system loudspeakers with the introduction of the indoor FreeSpace DS 16S loudspeaker and the outdoor DS 16SE loudspeaker.

The new loudspeakers in the DS line are engineered for the unique demands of business music system users and installers. Both the FreeSpace DS 16S and 16SE loudspeakers provide background music with notable presence and detail. They also deliver clear, intelligible speech reproduction for pages, allowing them to be used in a variety of applications.

The FreeSpace DS 16S and 16SE loudspeakers are acoustically compatible with the existing FreeSpace Model 16 loudspeaker, so they can be combined on the same loudspeaker line to allow for smooth and seamless sound coverage throughout almost any space. These loudspeakers are Bose Introduces A New Line of FreeSpace Loudspeakers installation-friendly and include integrated transformers with easy to adjust tap settings. The transformer can be easily bypassed for eight-ohm operation and an innovative and accessible thumbwheel allows tap settings to be adjusted before, during or after installation.

Designed to meet the needs of dealers and installers, each model uses a simple 1-2-3 installation system- (1) Wire and attach the wall bracket, (2) Secure the speaker to the wall bracket with one screw, (3) Snap the wire connector into wall bracket. The 1-2-3 system enables pre-wiring during initial construction and easy speaker installation during the finishing stages. This allows installers to save time on the job site.
